"I fished for a day and a half with Capt Artie in August 08. Three of us each caught a tuna. I was on the rod for the third fish . This fish came on the second day, the half day. It was a 62 inch fish and these were my first experiences actually hooking and landing tuna. If you have not tried this, you are missing a great experience. You are out on the water, other boats in sight, whales swimming and surfacing while marking bait and watching the birds. What is great about this kind of fishing is that you fish as a team. Artie told us right off the bat that there is no "i" in the word tuna. This is team work and everyone gets a role to play when the action takes place. Man these fish are strong. You need to heed the advice of the Captain, follow directions and hope you are lucky as well. On top of the excitement is the knowledege you gain from the experience. That is fishing to me. The more you learn, the better you get. I was able to hook and land a tuna on the surface later that season in September on a spinning outfit out on Cape Cod Bay. It was a 57 inch fish and what I had learned from fishing with Artie really helped. I have no doubt that I would have lost that fish if I did not have the knowledge I gained from my previous experience. Do it! "
- Jack McGurin, South Dennis MA"You are the real deal. My brother and I had a blast fighting stripers. We've been on fishing charters before but none like this. We learned so much we feel like we could start are own fishing charter, but not in Boston ;). Thanks again"
